My application runs fine on my computer but cannot be started on my
boss' computer - he gets the above error message every time he tries.
What could cause this?

components lurking in the dark...

No, all calls to paths/filenames use
ExtractFilePath(Application.ExeName) and the like. Will now boot back
into 98 and try to recompile (after installing a yet missing 3rd-party
package - only set up Win98 partition recently, so not everything
installed yet). Hopefully that should give me a better idea of what's
happening.

No, all calls to paths/filenames use
ExtractFilePath(Application.ExeName) and the like....

In that case it must be a subtle difference between the handling of an API
by 98/XP-Home and by XP Pro resulting in a division by zero further down the
line or something like that.

Step-by-step debugging can be tedious but it can also reveal quite a few
problems. I think that's what is called for now. Good luck!

Same DB Engine (Access 2000's - I think it's Jet 3.5?). However, I've
now booted into my Win98 partition and get an error message there too.
Seems my XP partition is the only one on which it works. Just why???
